Day 1: Chennai – Pondicherry: After break fast proceed to Pondicherry. Via – mahabalipuram Visiting the Shore Temple built in the shape of a Pyramid. Then visit Arjuna’s Penance, a carving done in the face of a huge rock Sri Aurobindo Ashram, Pondicherry museum etc. Over night stay at Pondicherry.
Day 2: Chidabaram – Kumbakonam: After breakfast proceed to the fomous Nataraj Temple in Chidabaram then proceed to kumbakonam, the famous temple town of South India, is picturesquely located amidst the two rivers, Cauvery & Arasalar, via Chidambaram Natrajar temple. Night halt at Kumbakonam.
Day 3: Swamymalai, Tanjore, Pillayarpatti – Rameshwaram: Morning after breakfast check out hotel,visiting and driving to Swamimalai: The Soora Vahana Festival (Lord Muruga is seated above the Asura Soorapadhman and is taken around the temple) Pillayarpatti: Karpagarvinegar koil is one of the oldest cave Temples(Roct cut ) temples of Tamil nadu and situated at Pillayarpatt. Rameshwaram . Check in at the hotel. Afternoon proceed for a local tour of Rameshwaram which is considered as a sacred place for Hindus. Visit Ramanathaswamy Temple, and return back to hotel and over night stay at Rameshwaram.
Day 4: Rameshwaram – Thiruchendur: Morning after breakfast check out hotel and proceed to Thiruchendur Murugan Kovil is one among the aaru padai veedu of Lord Muruga Swing Festival (Oonjal Sevai – where Lord Muruga swings with his consort in a highly tranquill atmosphere),over night stay at Thiruchendur.
Day 5: Thiruchendur – Kanyakumari: Morning after breakfast proceed to Thiruchendur then to Kanyakumari- the southern tip of Indian sun continent. Visit Vivekananda Rock Memorial and witness the majestic sunset. Overnight at Kanyakumari.
Day 6: Kanyakumari – Madurai: After break fast proceeding to Madurai,Check in hotel and Visit Sri Meenakshi sundareshwara temple, the temple art museum, puthu Mandapam, Raya gopuram etc and evening return back to hotel and over night stay at Madurai.
Day 7: Madurai – Thiruparamkundram – Pazhamudhircholai: Proceeding to local sight seeing Bathing Festival (Abhishekam – where the Lord’s image is bathed in several holy waters, amidst the veda chanting – Sri Rudhram and Chamakam) : Soora Samharam, Chariot Festival and Laksha archana (worship to Lord Muruga by hundred thousand names) over night stay at Madurai.
Day 8: Palani – Trichy: After Break fast proceeding to Palani (Murugan Temple), Tiruchirapalli is a historic city situated on the banks of the scenic river Cauvery: Over night at Trichy.
Day 9: Trichy: After Break fast proceeding sight seeing like it is Trichi’s most famous landmark.Halfway to the fort lies the Thayumanaswamy Temple, also known as the Rock Fort Temple. The temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva is an important pilgrimage site of the Hindus. This beautifully carved rock-cut cave temple of the Pallava period The Sri Ranganatha swamy temple located at Sri Rangam, at a distance of 10 km from Trichy, is a perfect example of amazing Dravidian architectural splendor. This is one of the largesttemples in India, and also a prominent place of Hindu pilgrimage. The temple is situated in the middle of the river Cauvery. This sprawling temple complex covers The “Raja gopuram” of the temple towers the tallest gopuram in Asia.Tiruchirapalli .Over night atTrichy.
Day 10: Trichy – Thiruvannamalai: After Break fast drive to Thiruvannamalai proceeding temple is one of the most important temples located in the Arunachala Hills of Thiruvannamalai. The temple dedicated to one of the several forms of Lord Shiva that is Arunacha. Over night at Thiruvannamalai.
Day 11: Vellore – Thiruthani: After break fast drive to vellore, The golden Temple and then to thiruthani, Mirror Festival (Kannadi Sevai – where the Lord’s Six faces are exposed through a mirror and worshipped)and to thirupathi.over night stay at thirupathi.
Day 12: Thirupathi – Kachipuram – Chennai: Morning proceed to thirumala visit Sri Balaji temple. Back to Chennai via – Kachipuram, the silk city and over night stay at Chennai.
Day 13: Chennai drop.
